Utica Area Projects Awarded Through 4 Regional Economic Development Council Programs
January 28, 2025
I noticed that the Utica area got a lot of grant money through Regional Economic Development Council Programs. Since it is your taxpayer money they are handing out, you should know where it went. Fortunately, there were some good projects awarded money.
The first one I list is money for stormwater mapping in Oneida County. Can't argue with this given the increase in frequency and intensity of sotms that we have experienced.
Two grants were for Reimaging St. Luke's. I have attended most of the public meetings related to this and anxiously await the final draft. If you want to get up to speed on Reimagine St. Luke's I have recorded videos of the meetings
